Michael is an international Master Trainer and author. An aficionado for failures, a health nut, an animal lover and a lacto-vegetarian, Michael lives a holistic life with passionate pursuits in public speaking and writing. He lives by his personal philosophy: "No Failures; only Success Delayed".

An accountant by training, Michael holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from National University of Singapore, a Graduate Diploma (Training and Development) from Civil Service College and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Australia. A life-long learner, he is currently pursuing his PhD. His previous jobs include financial controller, marketing manager and general manager with American and British MNCs in Australia and Singapore.

Michael is the certified trainer with American Board of NLP, Time Line Therapy Association and American Board of Hypnotherapy.

He is a certified trainer with American Management Association International and a certified Program Leader in the Louis Allen Leadership Management Program. Dr Katari, founder of Laughter Clubs, trained Michael as a Laughter Yoga instructor.

Michael is a certified hypnotherapist with National Guild of Hypnotists and a certified stressologist with International Association of Counselors and Therapists. He is an Advanced Toastmaster (Gold) with Toastmasters International.

Using andragogy, accelerated learning and an eclectic approach, he conducts management training programs for government and MNCs.

Michael is the author of "I Once Wore Diapers”, “No Failure; Only Success Delayed”, “Who Broke My Rice Bowl?”, “Theory K” and “From Beggars to Millionaires”.

Through training and authoring, Michael's crusade is to illuminate the lives of failures to the level of enlightenment by switching on their light bulbs. Hence the name of his company, Lumiere (French for enlightenment, lamp or light).
